I'm heading out tomorrow (sunday) probably around midday-ish.
yea id like to go but have no way of getting my bike out there at the moment, maybe next weekend if im lucky
whatawhata is impossibly hard, even the best guys cant make it through there in the dry
Went out late yesty afternoon, 4pmish.
Pat was saying that Darryl King & another guy were there on Saturday & were carving it up. In his words '...F**k those guys can GO BRO!!!"
Don't understand the post above saying it's impossible out at Whatawhata, I'm no pro but manage easily around there.
I did get some footage of the track (only me riding though, not D.K.) so I'll see if I can post it on youtube soon so you can see for yourself.
"tap the rear brake.. TAP THE REAR BRAKE!!.. . . too late.. . oh well. . "
Mangakino MX track + no tap to rear brake = Helicopter Ride

I've talked to friends who have said that the track has changed quite a bit so I guess it depends on how long ago you went there. I originally heard it was pretty tough & slippery & I imagine it could get a tad slick when wet.
Dunno, check it out again, seemed pretty easy to me.
thought it was you lol.. cheers for the add, gotta meet up for a ride some time
