The thing I can't understand is when a guy puts his phone number in the ad for folk to talk to him personally with any queries they insist on all the using the keyboard instead of their mouths. Perhaps the direct approach would have been the easier option. John would have got his answer and the seller wouldn't have got so pissed off.

You formed an opinion based on the fact that you didnt believe there could possibly be such a bike of that age of that type that was not raced etc.
To begin with i defended Dave from your initial statements, and gave you the opportunity to phone him if you wanted too to clarify the queries you had, and to even view the bike if you wished.
You indicated from the rep you gave me (green) that you would cease these accusations.
Free speech is fine and you are free to say what you will, but at least be sure of your facts first, don't just assume that your view is correct because there couldn't possibly be any other.

Free speech means saying what you believe, doesn’t have to be factual or true look at act/national/labour etc.
