Thanks, Pupuke Rd Rider!

Was riding along Pupuke Road today, and my chain snapped and jammed itself inbetween the sprocket and swingarm, locking the rear.

Rode out a snake for about 30metres, managing to keep it upright.

Chain was rightly ruck, couldn't remove it by hand and ofcourse I came to a stop right infront of a driveway.

Fellow rider saw my with my hazards on and helped me limp the bike over to the curb, lifting the rear so it'd roll on the front wheel.

To use a classic kbism ... "wheelies are neither big nor clever", however, this is followed up by the refrain "a feck'n mint one is fun as!"

Got towed to Spectrum Cycles, they had to take the rear wheel off to unlodge the chain. Luckily there's no leaked fluids anywhere, so it doesn't look like any engine damage.
Rear sprocket + chain will probably be around $400. Expensive lesson, I think I'll be picking up some chain lube very shortly.
