Christchurch - adventure ride (Sun 3 Oct)

...ha tranzman in reading the first post its about riding the north bank to Springfield and coming down the south bank so in doing so you would fuel up at Oxford , and if a tard road rider badblackbuell does not know the diff between the north and south sides of the Waimak well fuck me . i gather he was confused i accepted it to be riding up the north bank so go figure.

Nope, I'd be very surprised if they do that, why go 10 extra kms North East to Oxford when you can just continue the 16 or so kms West to the Lunch meeting at Springfield and get gas there anyway.

In a couple of hours one of us will be proved correct and the other not.

Right, the ride goes up the North Bank to the NORTHERN intake, onto the road and over the WAIMAK GORGE BRIDGE and on to SPRINGFIELD.
I have to cater for noobs and big adventure bikes (V-Strom etc) therefore shingle roads and easy trails ONLY! After lunch we return to the Waimak Gorge and ride the South Bank.
As per usual the thread has been Kiwibikerified!
If you want hardcore (Pinky) then go to the Suzuki sponsored trail rides and see how rough it gets there.

Yep, we three Janet, Lauren and I all had a nice ride.
We think it went well.

Sorry not to see you there, Kyle & Helen.

We had a great day, aftre a slow start - Mrs B's first offroad venture since the Clarence Reserve - and got the shiny new TA thoroughly filthy. It was nice to catch up with a few familiar faces, and put a face to Peril's name.
