I just realised its been that long since I posted my first thread, that same day (20 March 2010) I had passed my Learners, bought all my gear, and paid for and picked up my first bike. The mighty white GPX 2fiddy.

So in 6 months 5 days I have:

1. Travelled 6187 kilometres.
2. Spent $5,679.50 including purchase of bike & gear plus maintenance & petrol.
3. Attended 5 LOR Sunday Rides (Cheers guys they have all been awesome!)
4. Found & Posted 7 Waikato Tags.
5. Had 3 REAL close ones that could have ended in a dirt nap (all my fault)
6. Been through one checkpoint (waved through)
7. Never been pulled over.
7. Done a shit load of learning.

What a fun 6 months motorcycling! I'v played alot less xbox thats for sure.

I can now get my Restricted so will book that asap, then I cant get pinged for no L plates

For sure mate, I now really notice how powerful the bike is not.
