    Hello from a newbie!

Well finally i made it..... having loved bikes as long as i have loved cars, 8 or more years ago and sat my riding test but i didnt pursue it with further with riding or getting a bike with strong oppoistion from my parents with mums uncle actually end up being disabled from being in an accident when she was young.

Anyways, 8 years down the line, reasssuring them to be safe, re-sat my basic handling test and got myself helmet, gloves, jacket, pants and boots today! All i now need is a bike... for my first bike ive decided to settle for a ZXR250. I was going to get the new Ninja 250R, but for that money looks like i can get me a ZXR250 and put a TYGA kit on it which looks fantastic!

Being into cars etc and having owned some powerful cars, EVOS, GTRs, RX7s etc... have had very close calls when i was getting into them doing some really stupid shit on the public roads, and i think i would have killed myself had i got a bike 8 years ago. But with age and a lil maturaity i dnt do that on the public roads and keep it to the track days and drag strip... so i think ill be ok on the bike (hopefully) now and really looking forward to it with summer around the corner!

So i thought id jst post to say hello to everyone that shares the love of riding and bikes! I know theres so much to pick up and learn, loooking foward to it! Safe riding everyone!

You bought the gear first. This must be some sort of record, we'll have him stuffed and mounted, he's too smart for this forum. Welcome.

the new ninja's are only a parallel twin...

Welcome to KB, great bike you have chosen. Way more power than the new ninja, so be careful. It will last you through your licensing stages very nicely.

lol I was just thinking the same, good stuff.

ZXR250 awesome first bike, that's what I rode loved it, went well enough power / handling to grow into up untill you can upgrade (full). Those kits look awesome by the way, remember checking them out awhile ago, what they should have done with the new Ninja and old engine.
