One of my mates was cleaned up by a car on his brand new Wee strom at the intersection of Lichfield and Montreal/Durham (Not sure if it was Durham or Montreal) at about 7:30 wednesday the 15 september.

He can't remember anything about the accident and is now having trouble finding witnesses. Did anyone see it or hear from anyone who saw it?.
All he remembers is a black car appearing in front of him, Two off duty coppers where there and one of them called the ambulance for him, A friend his who is a police officer just called him and hinted that the car driver was also a policeman!, his next words were "If they move to caution you get a lawyer quick!". No one has taken a statement from my mate yet and they are saying that there are no impartial witnesses?.

I know this is starting to sound a bit like one of those "The coppers are out to get us threads".

I have a lot of time for the Police ( My Dad was one for 25yrs), But it really does sound to me like the wagons are being drawn into a circle on this one.

Some body will have seen it, Any help would be appreciated.
