Tried out an 1198

Kind folk at Motomart loaned me an 1198.
First time on a Duc (apart from lady at works 800 Monster)
Loved it, not as versatile as current bike, but wow.

I reciently picked up a 1098 as my first....long overdue....crotch rocket...and I love it. Clocked up some long days and my comfort concerns were unfounded. Even the seat was fine.

Getting on the monster afterwards felt like riding a motard....

But for pootling around town and slow speeds....forget it, my wrists could not handle that for long. Has a high screen fitted, I will swap that for a std screen which may take a weight off...
