    Leg bag

While on the bike, I've always had the problem of keeping somewhere all the everyday stuff: home keys, wallet, coins, mobile phone...
I've always used a bum bag, but when the speed raises a bit i found it flapping on my leg...
If others have the same problem, this could be a better solution:

Don't you wear a jacket? Plenty of room in most bike jackets.

    What he said.

Or under the seat in a snap-lock bag.

Well of course I have to add my own voice here - I have that very bag and it worked very well for me riding down the South Island with Gremlin.

At first, I thought it wouldn't be usable since I have large thighs and had to wear the thigh strap at the max length (and it just fits). Had it on my right leg (or the leg which your dominate hand will go for).

I found it highly useful - wearing wet weather gears and had that over the top of the pants meant it was easy for me to access wallet/keys etc.

Always felt secure and never once had it feel like it was going to fall off. Had it filled with all sorts of useful bike gubbins like those little sprayer wipe bottles for visors, disc locks, swiss army knives etc.

Mind you, wearing my red camo ninja pajamas and with that attached to my leg, I did get quite a few concerned looks from innocent civvies wondering what the heck was going down!

I got mind for NZ$18 if I can recall - was a bargain and even have the POLICE velcro namebadge for it too!

There is plenty of room to keep my stash in the glove box on my bike, and my pants pockets can fit quite a bit. Otherwise I just chuck stuff on top of the petrol tank and ride with that.

I've lost count to how many pockets my jacket has. more than enough on the inside alone.

i dont use the jacket pockets often as they are a bitch to get into while wearing the jacket. only essentials that i dont often need [pen and paper, travel size loo roll etc] go there. everything else like wallet and keys go in the tank bag.

i do use the cellphone pocket on the jacket though cos i figure in the case of an off, its a 'normal' place for joe blogs to look as opposed to the tank bag or top box.
