    Bike storage in Wellington?

Looking for bike storage in central Wellington with excellent security. More in the nature of a remote garage that I can access all the time with ease as opposed to long-term storage. (Possibly comparable to the bike vault here in Auckland?)

What are your experiences and recommendations?

The carpark I use has 24 hour access.

Has an attendant on premises during working hours.
Swipecard access and a pincode is required to open the gates afterhours.

    $50 a month.

    Tournament Parking
Hope Gibbons/Bungy area (Never remember the actual street name)
Inglewood Place (corner Dixon and Taranaki St)

    Hope this helps

thanks for that - how do you secure your bike? i.e. is there anything to physically lock it to?

Steering lock during the day, Attendants are good geezers.
    Disc lock if over night.

If I really cared about the 250 I would chain it to the handrail but only 1 bike could do that.

I rent a garage in the CBD. Was sharing with 2 other bikers, but both moved on. Put an ad on tradeAndExchange and now sharing with some dude who uses it for storage. If there was any room left in there, I'd offer it to ya, but its even a tight fit for just the 1 bike now. I pay $15 a week for this ( other guy pays $25 )

Took me atleast 6 months of looking for a garage in the CBD before I found 1.

    Good luck to ya.
