Bike friendly WOF place out west Auckland?

    Hi Guys
Any sugestions for a bike friendly WOF place in west Auckland ?

I used to go to a place on Rosebank rd ,but the guy has left so they no longer do bike WOFs

My brother and I both need to get WOF for our road bikes
Nothing wrong with our bikes, but testing stations will only do bike warrents on cirtain days as the "bike guy" only there on special days

    * you need to have a bike licence to write a motorcycle WOF nowdays

    Any suggestions would be great
    Thanks

Best place I have found is AA testing station on Carr Road in Mt Roskill. The guy works between there and Onehunga AA so ring first.
Be prepared for the annoying " is it larger than 125" question..... as I have been to Onehunga after ringing only to find they can only do up to 125.

Stole my business eh? I used to do all the bike WoF's in that area. The AA opening didn't effect my WoF turn over at all,and I picked up a lot of work from their fails....windscreen washer bottle empty? Yes mam.The first manager was a good guy, local and we got on well together. His staff was another story, and we had many an argument.I don't know what they regard as 5 years in the motor trade...pumping gas?

There was a second guy at the Onehunga Testing Station who has a GS 750 but doesn't test bikes....there must be a course and certificate involved in it....
Still if it was easy Mr Whippy would be doing it...

Don't go to Sylvia Park as Guru there can tell if your steering head bearings need adjusting in a few seconds whilst his mate tilts the bike on the sidestand....as my kids would say " skills.."

No,it goes on the licenses and qualifications - he must not want to do bikes.Don't blame him, some bike owners can be arseholes.I have licenses 1 through to 6 and a Gas Conversion Cert - my ticket says cars, trailers, bikes, light trucks,CNG and LPG.But the site is not authorised for gas,so I don't do them.

To drag up an old thread. Bike needs to get it's first warrant with me and Henderson has moved over to the shore. Any other suggestions?

Yep Cycletreads on Barry's Point road,it's just over the harbour bridge,I always go there for my WOF's servicing etc, they are always good.

I live out west too,but don't mind taking a little ride out there, cos they know what they are doing.
