In some strange way I admire this chap. But a bike is for riding on... If something like that was sitting in my lounge I would most probably, after a few beers, want to know what she sounded like...

These things are as rare as rockinghorse droppings because....in the day, they seemd to crash on their own, so the ones scrapped were already writeoffs.
I can understand leaving this thing on display forever and never riding it.
But, as for paying money for it: yeah, right.
I just love eccentric people - cool thing to have in the house ....

I don't get the ex cop bike thing being collectable to the point of the value they are reaching. The things used to be cheap at auction when they flicked them off.
The museum of transport & technology has the collection of Police bikes. They are about the only bunch that would buy it. Cant see him getting 15k for it. I would have liked to known with him when he was spending that 20k.... He might have been dropping $100 bills all over the place
The waterbottle would interest me (but not at 15K).
Wouldn't shed a tear if the CBX burnt down in a friggen house fire.
Vote David Bain for MNZ president
If i had a bugatti veyron. it would be sitting inside my house. where the tv should be. so i could sit there and admire it day n night.
i understand that man. good on him.
If I had a Veyron it would be on the road - I would have so much money I wouldn't care .. and I could sit in the garage with a smoke and admire it on days when it was wet (Not that I'd worry about it getting wet - I'd worry about my ability to handle the power of a a Veyron in the rain ...)

wish i could get a bike or three past the lady and into the lounge! still ride them without a doubt but cool to have parked in pride of place.
