Who was at Omarama, Sunday 12 December at about 2.00pm?

We were in the pub, I was on the SMR (parked up), saw a group of Adv bikes, XR, Dr, KTM 9XX adv etc? ... stopped and looked at our mob, Duc Hypertard, Predator etc

Was just about out the door to say gidday when they all took off .... not feelin the love

That sounds like part of our group of 2 XR650s, 1 DR250 white, KTM 950ish and me DR650 yellow.
I did see bikes across the road while waiting for traffic so I could get out of the carpark and catch up.
We were at Omarama from 1:03pm to 1:45pm.
Got gas at the Mobile then had food next door then pulled out and headed for the Black Forest.
First few may have pulled over near your bikes while waiting for me to get my shit together.
We'd already been stopped too long and took until 8:50pm to get home as it was.

Sorry mate, that was mattsdakar and I having a bit of a drool over you bikes, we didn't spot you so we kept on going, would have been well up for a chin wag. Aside from crossing paths with some blind ADV riders I hope you boys enjoyed your ride, fantastic weekend eh

aw here have one of these That would be us. Two XR650R's, DR250, DR650 and ma 950 Adv S. I saw the SMR and was thinking wonder if that is A? We were on a bit of a mission - didn't get home til almost 9pm. Besides who wants to talk to riders of bikes that don't have big manly knobs

Have a look over here for more of the good stuff.

Bum, never mind, next time, but if you were on a mish the last thing you need to to stand around gassing to a bloody roady . (Looking at selling the SMR to get a F800GS .. maybe, depends if it sells or not.)

Yeah we had been to Mount Cook / Tekapo for Ellens works do, she was on the Sherpa and I was on the SMR so I could keep up with her

She left earlier to Wanaka so I rode back with the lads, enjoyable riding, got flashed at by the feds but they carried on ... .lucky!!

Yeah though I was busted at 119 but they were good, so I did take notice and peg it back a bit, only 30 seconds earlier and they would not have appreciated my level of expertise while saving front tyre wear!!
