    They could have made the Africa twin more like the Dakar bikes but that would have narrowed the focus and made the bike super expensive.

    that sounds more like it, not even todays bikes 690/650 are that lightweight ... still pretty good

    shame they gave it too many pies on the production ones at 200+kg
