Good work chap. He wasn't helicoptered after all and took approx 3.5 hours to get to hospital with a few stops to stabilise Brett's condition on the way.
SCU aren't investigating so there will be no charges laid as a result. The SCU cop was very good value (motorcyclist himself) and went and picked up Brett's gear from the Pahiatua Police station and brought it back to Palmerston North.
I'll be going back up tonight or tomorrow morning so I'll print the thread off and take it with me.
