    My thoughts too.

Hang in there Hitcher, hospital isn't much fun but its the safest place for you. Heard about you earlier today and my heart goes out to you and your family.

Sad news. As one gets older the thought occurs that, metaphorically speaking, we never know what's around the next corner.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery Hitcher.

I don't want to go into it too much here but myself and another rider were first on the scene and it was certainly not a nice thing to come across. For a while there things were very tense and it was a relief when the Beemer riding doctor arrived and took charge. We were in a very isolated spot and it was around 45mins before the first emergency vehicles arrived but they were obviously very efficient and we soon had him in the ambulance for a short ride to the chopper.

I am very relieved to hear that Brett's condition has improved since I last saw him and wish him all the best for a speedy recovery.
