What sad news. All the best for a speedy recovery. This site may well descend into chaos without your guiding hand. How fortunate to have that doctor along on the ride! Good on you guys who were first on the scene for keeping your cool and doing what needed to be done. Look forward to reading the good news of your recovery on here.

Hitcher as managed the transition from ventilated to breathing by himself, and has roused sufficiently from time to time to acknowledge people and grin at questions he doesn't know the answer to.

He will be transferred to a ward later today.

When he starts correcting speeling mistakes then he's recovered.

Hitcher is one of those invincible types that you really think nothing will ever happen too. Although we never really communicated it is still quite a shock to read about what happened.

I sincerely wish you all the best and hope you have a speedy recovery.

Thoughts go to you, your family and to your friends who must worried sick right now.

Good to hear from Mrs H before. Brett's not up to visitors yet but I'm sure he'll be in our thoughts and we'll be ready with the grapes (and sly grog...) when he's up to it.
