Actually it came from Mount Motorcycles.

    is that a basic?

so is this for when you are feeling 'retro' or are you replacing the cruiser?

It's a 1986 R80G/S Paris Dakar (the Gaston signature one) with only 54,000kms on it. And yep, it's for when I'm feeling retro.

I've never owned a cruiser, that was a press bike.
This one goes in the shed with the two KTM's and the TT500.

Is that definition about as accurate as your one of a big bike Mark?

    the definition is simple really:

a cruiser is a bike that I should never have taken into the place I am currently stuck in and will likely rupture myself when I try to pick it up

ktm adventures are firmly in this category for me and I suspect most AVERAGE riders

On that basis my 950 is a cruiser.
I dropped it down hill on the FNAR and it took three of us to pick it up.

I have picked up both my 950 once, and the PD a few times on my own so I know I can do it. Recovering the PD from down a bank back onto the track is another story, it took 5 of us on the CCA pre ride to do that.

But then Padmei had to call for assistance when he put Gonzo down a bank recently so the KLR probably lives in the same category.
