Who is on suspension or disqualified at present?

there seems to be a big push on at present to get speeding riders off the road . Just curious as myself and a mate are both "' OFF '" . I have never seen so many coppers on the road hunting , hiding round corners , in trees and bushes and overpasses . The fun is slowly been taken away . Is it speed (how fast) or demerits .

meh, pick your spots and youll be fine. dont gun it on long straights. have a good play through sections of lots of twisties and youre much less likely to find yourself in the presence of the local constabulary

Just two months and 22 days to go!

Irony is that the same friendly Constable that gave me my last ticket costing 35 points (ridding 1000cc on restricted, no speeding involved just "friendly safety" check) was also the same friendly constable who served me my suspension 5 months later and took away my now full licence i got two weeks after the original ticket... anyway i should be back on the road for rest of the summer i hope...

(previous loss of points were, year ago "no L plate" on learners, and riding 400cc on learners)...actualy none of my points that cost me licence were speeding, another irony considering how much i speed everywhere...

Well, what did you lose your licence for?

The "big push" is more about giving citizens the message that they will be compliant little lemmings, and the state will regulate, punish, and tax them as they see fit. Where is your anger?

I'm on clapped out factory Showa suspension at the moment but am contemplating an Ohlins rear and race tech emulators for the front to modernize it a bit.

I've lost my license 3 times (slow learner) when I was younger, and driving a car. Didn't bother me much, I knew the consequences for speeding etc.

In saying that it hasn't taught me to slow down, and losing my license didn't stop me from driving while disqualified. I'm probably a worse speeder now than I was, just choose my time and place more appropriately (every day on the way home from work hehe). Haven't had a ticket in 5+ years now.

    A contradiction in terms, surely.
