And you even kept up with my ZXR.....250, oh no wait, you didn't

Suppose you'll give me the whole "i was still runnning it in" excuse aye.

The K5 is a looker alright though, Black looks better in person, and the physical size of the thing as well, wow. Wonder what will be done to the K6 600 if they can get a 1000cc that small?

As much as i want one the extra $$$$, i'll stick to what i've got and what i've got coming to me next week

One thing i find odd about it is the rec/reg sticking out the back?

The test wasnt run by Aussies, its the biggest motorcycle sportsbike comparison in the world and has been for the last 3-4 years, testers from 15 different magazines. Its a racetrack only test, what they found was the Suzuki was a bit soft in the front suspension and had too tall gearing, saying it suited the more experienced rider, but only 2 out of 15 riders set their fastest time on the GSXR1000, maybe it was the track, whatever, interesting read, buy the mag and check it out. Ohh, the MV1000 was 3rd, the R1 2nd and the ZX10R 1st.

Fuggin never invited me did they!

The lap times were quite interesting. You see Sam from AMCNs (who's no mug) times were up to 5 secnds a lap off the top times of each bike. Fuck me those spaniards can ride!

This will sound like sour grapes but what planet were those magazine testers on? The mag said something like their master test was based on 'best race track performance' not road. Therefore the WSB series should provide the best evidence of how well they got it right or wrong. The GSR is currently holding overall 1st and 2nd place and CBR in 3rd then Ducati and Ducati again. So the mag ranks the top WSB performers last?? They picked the ZX10 and R1 as best on a track? Those journos must really know something about track racing that the world's top riders don't because I checked the podium wins so far this year. If you take the number of top three position places won this year by Yamaha and Kawasaki, add them together, multiply by 10, you get ... wait for it... zero. Shit they must be brilliant 'racetrack bikes' compared to those GSRs that can only come first or second place again and again. I'm not picking on the R1 and ZX here, they're all great bikes, I'm picking on those piss poor mag testers that come up with a stupid result that contradicts everything that's really happening out there on the track. I've lost all faith in Mag tests. Next year they'll pick the 30bhp Royal Enfield if the Makers out bribe Kawasaki. Time to stop buying bike mags.

The bikes they tested were stock though, maybe the Gixxers are the best when modified?

Yeah well hopefully they've moved it more to the front.

Last time I went to WMCC it was being hidden behind a GSX250.

Nearly missed it, its soooooooo small...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
