    good on ya!
I wondered what you would finally choose, after wanting an SV1000.
Nice bike! Even though I have never actually bought a bike from Botany they have always treated me very well especially John in the service dept!

Enjoy mate! I think that was a good choice! Nice bike! Scorpians and Rider seat to (no numb butt!)
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

Im glad it came with a 'Rider Seat' because standing on the pegs gets a bit tiresome after the first half hour...

Yes, yes it does. Also, I just found out that the scorpion exhausts have a removable db-killer baffle. It's attached in there with just a single screw so I'm going to take them out this evening and give the neighbourhood a scare.

Yeah, I woulda gone for that one if it hadn't been for the exhausts and seat. Of course, with the price difference someone could probably do the same mods for the same price anyhow.

Oh, and here's a little double-entendre that I've been working on since I've now become a honda rider.

"The 'Rider' seat fits my ass like a glove"

    Enjoy

Lol. Sriously though, I must be getting gay in my old age, the 900 Hornets seem a lot of bike for your dollar now days. Never ridden one (yet) but I can certainly see the appeal.

I switched away from an 04 ZX10R with mods after riding a hornet. I could put the hornet through corners almost as quick. Then factor in $2-300 a service, only adding fuel in between services. Fantastic bike!

You can imagine how well they can go with someone that can ride on it!

Good choice GrassHopperus - great minds think alike . I suggest that the CB900 Hornet offers one of the best "bang for buck" motorcycles on the market. I'm very happy with mine considering the amount I've got tied up in two wheels. In case you were not aware there is a big overseas fan base with this bike known as the 919 in the US because the "Hornet" name was already in use (by a car) .... Check out this link http://www.wristtwisters.com/f94/ - loads of stuff on the bike (good and bad).

    GOOD MAN

PS - the black ones are faster.

Also if you want to talk hornets (aka 919 in the USA) get over to the naked section on www.wristtwisters.com

The appeal of the Hornet or being gay?

I only just saw this thread!
That is indeed my previous bike and you have grabbed yourself a pearler - as you well know. I must admit ont he Hornet swarm hearing those lovely Scorpions was very familiar (still trumps my current bike in that department!)

I'm glad it went to you and not someone who wouldn't appreciate the love and care I gave it!
