The good guy behind the parts counter at Mach 1 Yamaha let me in on a little secret. you can buy Yamaha GYTR Protaper bars for $113.

thats cheap. In two bends, a YZ bend and a WR bend. I got a WR set.

are these the same 7/8" silver pro tapers as I would have on my 06 wr?

it would be nice to have an unbent pair - I might give them a call

No they are 1 1/8 Fat bars.
