That's just it though, there are no new models, this is as close you'll get. Sure it's expensive, but what are the alternatives?

Somebody can go buy a new bike (which is totally missing the point) and a less expensive VMX bike but they won't have their dream bike. The person who buys something like this is buying their dream, and good on 'em 'cos most of us take the conservative compromise route (as above) and never experience what we really REALLY want.
