Funny, I don't recall saying a GB 500 was a classic. But it is closer to being the correct age to qualify.

I've always considered a classic to be a first of design irrespective of age. However over 40 years old is often considered vintage. It possible for a bike to be both vintage and classic, but there are many that are classic without being vintage.

No mistake, (although the Italians have made a few) 25 years old and it will qualify as a classic along with the Harley thats advertised as one too!A little like a stamp with a spelling mistake on it that becomes a collectors item...
