Coro Loop is just a cesspit of riders falling off their machines all the time, treating the road as a race track. Some just get injured. Some have been worse off.... No wonder it is Policed. As for the Nelson Blitz - no idea what you are talking about. Never been to Nelson - It is on the "to do" list though. I take these two townships form the whole of the North Island and the South Island, for these Nation wide blitzes you are referring to?

I've had my experiences...where cop i've never seen before starts off after pulling me over with "have i ever stopped you before" sentence...and treats me like i've been warned before so this time its time to teach me lesson.

Well thats better, you dont have to be so patronising but nobody is perfect...ok let me tell you something about those experinces that are "just" mine and nobody elses...i can count at least 10+ people from my friends (some of them also ride) that have very similar experience with cops ...e.g 99% of cops they came across were nothing to be desired, mostly arrogant cocks!
(but on the positive side we do get to exchange our "cop" stories and its sometimes bonding experience too)...hell, even my mother hates cops with passion and trust me she doesnt ride a bike.
So yes i did generalise by including you personaly into the "we" statement and perhaps i generalised by saying "all cops hate bikers" but from the "limited survey" of my personal experiences and experiences of people around me i formed my own opinion of NZ Police.

However iam glad that your experience with them was different and i must say it does make me little bit jealous...
Now think how easy it must be for hot girls riding bikes they probably never get tickets at all...

One more thing, i appreciate the suggestion about joining police myself and removing the rot from the inside, its actualy great idea...but iam affraid that my family would disown me so unfortunately it isnt an option...

I have had two broken noses (a King Cobra Gang member during a brawl and a pissed "off duty" cop), a busted thumb (a shithead on a stolen bike who tried to crack me over the head with the helmet he had), disarmed a knife wielding arse who wanted to stick me (coz he was showing off for his mates), and a few smacks to the face (one while stopping a wanker kicking over motorbikes while on plain clothes beat duty... boy did he get a surprise... ).

Never once started anything, with arrogance or anything remotely like it....

And the biggest penalty dished out for any of these?

A $300 fine. And that went to the cop (who also lost his job...).

Careful there Patrick, you'll have people thinking you don't have a sweet ride just sitting around handing out tickets and actually deal with real people and real situations involving scumbags...
