Classic run in Christchurch

OH what a great way to spend the day. the knight on the trusty "ehem ehem" stead arrived this morning and off we went for just the best jaunt around the Canterbury countryside.
Once I learnt how to extricate myself from the sidecar all was well!
the heat was intense hence the ehem about the trusty stead but the on board mechanic had it sussed in 15 minutes flat. I mean who carries spare head gaskets or is that something classic riders just know intuitively!!
On to the museum and BADGRL turned up to say hi!
Was quite the feeling sitting in that side car with the wind back in my face and watching the country go by!! awesome guys and thanks so much flip for taking me out today. Here's some pics.

36 ish I believe, shit it was hot. The old bike was boiling its carbs today it was missing and backfiring, had trouble keeping its speed up.

It was 35 when I checked Metservice once I got home, but it could well have been even hotter earlier, either way.. too damn hot.

It was nice meeting those of you I hadn't already, a nice ride, and the museum was interesting... I'm looking forward to next month, hopefully it'll be (a lot) cooler.

Flip is away for a few weeks. I'm picking the next classic ride will be the first Sunday in April. He will probably update the site on his return.

Going this month to the Yauldhurst Transport Museum April

Was going to Going to Horrorata to see a large collection of old bikes: http://www.jeffmarshallsuzuki.co.nz/...cle-collection but the owner is away at a rally this day.

Then off to Horrorata for lunch.
