At 30fps, when there is fast movement you get blurring of fast moving frames but at 60fps this is dramatically reduced so even the high action looks nice.
However, it does take up a lot more space! Anyone want to donate a nice fast 32gb SDHC card or seven?

Won't see you tomorrow or Sun. Practising for a crazy gig up in Nelson.
Hmmn, righto, may be worth sticking with 720p60 then, but like I said, I do plan on doing a comparison when I have time.
Filesize really isn't much of a concern - I'm using a 32GB SD card, so I run out of battery before space, and anytime I charge the battery I'd be emptying the SD card anyway, so the only reason I was considering 720p over 720p60 was if there wasn't any real difference in smoothness, as it would either cut encoding times in half if I left footage at 60fps, or remove the necessity of cutting the framerate if I went with 24/30fps output.

I agree about the sound quality of the gopro. The advertising raves about the sound, however I think the reality leaves a little to be desired.

Missed you two last Sunday, this week Greta.
Yeah, sadly I was extremely busy with a couple of assignments last weekend, but I should hopefully be there this weekend.

    A good ride today.

8 bikes with 10 in the group enjoyed looking at a large number of "Hondas" in various states of repair.

A big thanks to Graham, aka beemer89, for his organisation.

Pics later when I've organised them.

Given I am taking the side car to the Brass, what a great idea.

There is also the Ashvegas wheels weekend.
