In life as in dance Grace glides on blistered feet
Seeing as how everybody else is off enjoying the D.B.I thought a bit of retail therapy might make me feel more betterer
OH CRAPwhat have I done ?
But on the plus side.....I ran into a fellow rider at the bike shop who sugested I leave the bike at his house while I went to Nelson, save's me going home to get gear, and pick it up when I get home. He had some panniers sitting in his shed unused, SCORE !!
I'll be in touch Nerdneh

Pop the seat off and pull the snorkel out of the top of the airbox, it just clips in. That alone makes quite a difference. Ideally the carb needle should be shimmed or moved down a clip as the bike will run a bit leaner but mine ran fine without doing that.

At no stage today did I feel I needed more power, it overtook cars with ease, spun the rear exiting corners on the gravel, and would go fast enough to get a good fine if caughtor maybe I just ride like a nana. It felt almost neutral when standing aswell, and I like the fact it's quiet too
unlike the last 2 bikes I've been riding
Week after this one we head North for a week, with all the gear for a tour, so I'll leave any modifications until after that. If I do too much MrsJ won't be able to keep up on the 350(but that may be a good thing
)
Your beast is a good example of what can be done to one of these.
