Absolutely amazing pics Josh. After hearing about the challenge I can see what it was like.
Cheers

That bit !!! I'm sure that's the bit I was photographed in next to my bike instead of on it on the second route planning run.

Well I thought I better put my ten cents worth in.
First of all to Ryan and helpers a big thanks for organising an awesome trip.
To all the guys and girls I meet on the way would love to catch up again. I am new to this but felt very welcome from a great bunch of people, a nice feeling.
I also know how to use my GPS a little better now - (sorry for going around the block guys)
The highlights for me were the Arari Gorge on Friday (thanks Matt), Awakino Zig Zag and the shingle scree, and of course Sunday.... seeing a KLR up to its tank in water.
I take my hat off to Shrek for riding a bus around what was more suited to a trail bike.
Thanks to Junkmanjoe, Monstaman (Twin Bro), Shrek and others who joined us through the day.
Photos are spread over the weekend

Thanks for the great route and ride Ryan. I would have liked to be able to do the entire thing but time was an issue, hopefully I will be able to go faster next year.
HUGE thanks to Struan for the organising the fuel at the Poolburn pub.
Almost got home without a problem but a patch on my tube gave out before the Lewis Pass, and then to help things along my bike was running on an almost totaly oil free engine. Not good.
Good job to the one day riders. Would have been a little bit iffy coming through Black forest in the dark.
Cheers,
Piglet.
