    Who's Who?

Hi All. Sorry to have to mention names on the forum but could Mr G Gunter and Mr M Pool PM me please. Got problems with the accommodation in Alex that needs sorting.

Alternatively if you know who these guys are can you please PM me so I can chase them.

    Cheers R

Well that's not good to hear.
Maybe the Alex Park lady should of let us pay when we first checked in instead of making us come back later. I almost forgot to go back myself.

I couldn't believe you stayed on that bucking thing.
In Nelson you need to hook up with Nordie and the crew, they go out almost every weekend and some (the Nelson Rideouts thread).

She couldn't have made it more difficult could she, flatly refusing to let us pay.

I was the same and was actually seated on my bike ready to ride out of the campsite and just remembered to pay at the last second.

Another Alex isssue that needs raising is the people who signed up for the breakfast on the sunday morning, of the 10 odd who signed up only 3 actually went and got theirs. I'd say thats the last time the pie cart man will go out of his way to help the DB in the future.

While i'm having a bitch, those who either left their bikes idling for extended periods before leaving on sunday morning and then rarking it up leaving the camp should also think about how they do things

Common guys Ryan and crew have done amazing things to make the DB better every year then some people go and piss off the people who help make it work so well.

OH, thanks Ryan for putting on a fantastic route

I don't have first hand experience but it all seems bloody strange. We had better sort it out but it will be pointed out to her that she didn't help herself.

A little bit of courtesy goes a long way aye Topo.

    :
I agree with the rarking it up part however I didn't notice anyone idling for extended periods. Onthe whole I thought the guys on Sunday morning were pretty considerate low voices & the like. At that time of the morning - which wasn't tooearly there isn't much ambient noise.
A cmpground is a campground & those that stay in there have to be resonably tolerant of other noises, - be it boats being loaded up & driving out before dawn, kids crying, the loud game of uka by middle aged parents etc.In saying that - I dislike staying in campgrounds for the noise issues.

Now I'll go before someone strats making accusations about snoring

    Thank you to all

Another Great Dusty Thanks to Ryan and helpers.

A big thank you for the last minute help from Ryan and Tim G Loading my borrowed gps. This year it worked a treat and enabled Me and Josh to knock the One day off.

RE : Farlie Top 10 I have stayed there several times and to be fair they are useless allways managing to get it wrong.

Alex accomodation : last year I stayed in the bark chip at Local school playground and it was really quiet....bit cold though.

Thanks to Josh for being a bloody good partner....I will never forget how good the carrot cake was from the servo in Oamarama.

    Cheers
