Thanks for that Eddie - I saw what caused that first off of mine - getting too bloody cocky!

It was double embarrasing,as we ---St Jim---me---& Bigchicken (OK.--with me in the lead)roared past the big group there ,like we were gods gift to adventure riders,then Stjim fell in the river,& everyone past us again.

So we had to pass them again.

Sorry ,all you guys ,for being so pushy-----we were on a mission @ that stage, to complete everything------I guess we got our just deserts in the end.

We never quite completed everything on day two.(To much time fixing punctures.

Bigchicken did most of the Tekapo bit,the last in the dark with almost no light on his ktm525.St jim & I did Black forest as darkness fell.(Saw Wallabies)
I was pleased with the performance of the little Super Sherpa.Would,ve won the "NANA BIKE" devision,I rekon.

Awakino Challenge....

3hours 40 minutes to do 60km and that's taking the easy way out after the first 30km. Just the first 30km are in the video.

Uploaded Picture quality may not quite be up to good but the file sizes are getting big.
