Would like to keep off as many of the main roads as i can.
Theres a few heading down but no real plan as far as I know .
I'll start a separate thread and see if we can coordinate something.

I notice a small red highlighted line of text on the route webpage that I think should also be mentioned here....

Please do not attempt to ride this route outside the organised weekend as the route crosses private land.
You need to get in touch with cooneyr for land owner details if you are thinking about it

Same for last years route, there are two sections that I'm aware of that you should consult land owners over first.

Is anyone planning on equipping themselves with helmet-cams / video cameras etc and putting together a video of the ride?

I did last year but lost my audio near the end of day one.
There were a couple of other kinds of helmet camera floating about too.
I've done some work on a DVD of it but still have a bit to go from memory.
I had planned to finish the Capital Coast DVD first and that's almost done now... except I'm riding and some other stuff instead of editing at the moment.

Since there's a few new areas not previously taped by me I had started thinking about recording but it means emptying my backpack in order to stick the recorder in there and lots of mucking around at the stops.

This clip from the Serpintine Rd is the only bit of last years DB that I have put online so far... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncX8mFvat1c

I'm sure I've seen at least one other by someone else too.

Slow to get work organised - DOH!

G'day Looks like the stars are slowly coming into alignment - I see all accomodation options on ADVRoutes are booked - any other options being investigated by others (two day) I am thinking push comes to shove I could do the real thing and chuck the tent on the back for Alex but would prefer a softer option for more
