Having owned a few Hondas over the years I'd have to honestly disagree. But then I'm insane

Just to set things straight - Mr Honda can add as many 'R's to his model names as he likes - won't make em go any faster tho.
    SO THERE
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Did a top gear roll on in 6th against a CBR1000RR Pulled 1 bike length straight off then another over 1/2 a K mate tryed doing a 5th gear while I stayed in 6th same deal but only half a bike over 2ks . Took his for a blast well a ride as they don't blast just get quicker . My 355 Chev would beat one of them of the mark

Theres more to a bike than just sound . Have owned Ducatis / Triumphs / Big singles , all great sounding bikes. But that is only 1 of the 5 things a bike has to have for me to own it . As TLs only do 2 out of the 5 , this is way I wouldn't never own one . To each there own . My 1000cc sounds Fucken mint at full noise . Must admit only hear Twin's when passing them & don't hear them at all when they are 2k behind you . Nothing matters when you are Flat out , name, sound , looks only the best bike matters .

A TL SOUNDS OK BUT A GSXR1000 WITH A FULL SYSTEM DOING 12000RPM SOUNDS BETTER

I still own Ducati's and my first Triumph was bought in 1978 .......perhaps the keyword with GSXR's etc is "Flat out" and anything below that (read 80% of the time ) = bland ?..kind of like that whining sound a Ford Corsair made ......where as a big twin, anything above 2000rpm = sweet ?... How many 1000cc inline4 riders can honestly say they are at redline on a regular basis ?

Not too mention when you get off the gas and slam it down a couple of gears on a big twin, beeeeeuuuaaatttiiiffuuullll.
But a I4 full noise at the track sounds the biz too.
Best sound i've heard is T595 with a custom system on it, just different and really good.
Plus i got a wee soft spot in my heart for a stroker at full noise, dont know his name but a guy at Rodders track day on a race prepped RZV500, fark it sounded mint.

Not quite redline but very close to it . The Perks of owning a bike that Handles My 1000 sound excellent at any speed !! not that I make a point of riding round town all day just so I look kool from the sound my bike makes . Not that sad yet .
