    Sunshine and sadness...

Sigh... A beautiful sunny afternoon and I was out the back, looked through the garage door and just had to take a picture of a sad looking Boulevard.

The cobwebs just add to the mood...

I feel your pain, lonely replacement bike in shed, not even been ridden yet since purchase. No cobwebs yet though.

What's your sad story as to why your not riding it?

(Fortunately the cobwebs are on the inside of the door and not on the bike.)

Not fun. I wrote my van off on oil and am still in a body-brace for a broken back. Been 6mths so far as I had to have an op 14wks later. Got a couple of impressive scars though...

Rego on hold and insurance dropped to 3rd Party, Fire & Theft. Start it up occasionally and shed a wee tear... Got another 5wks in the brace and then all being well, into rehab and get fit for Summer cruising!

Looks like about another 6wks yet. But all going to plan, I should be good to go, (gently for while...) by about mid-Dec.

Thanks Mate! Have to admit my wife and caregiver keep me behaving myself, (mostly...), as I'm so sick of the brace I just want to throw it out the window! I'm not allowed out of bed without it on.

We're not all hard men with hearts of stone. I'm as tough as anyone when necessary, but I am a romantic at heart. I write poetry and prose, enjoy classical music and song, drink the occasional wine, I'm soppy with my kids, but woe betide anyone who seeks to harm my family.

You'll give yourself an ulcer one day, relax and smell the flowers.
