    Farewell, for now.

Well,Ive sold Ray to a mad "pom" who has a nice collection of bikes and a very understanding wife
I'm off to Australia on the 24th of November to start a new job at Seymour Toyota in Victoria.I'm going to be based in Nagambie and have already been scouting roads and riding places in the area in the few trips I've been on over there this year.
A big thanks must go to Ryan for his dedication to the cause and always willing to lend a helping hand. And everyone else I've met in the 3 years of discovering roads I never knew existed, thanks also for the fun.
I'll still be keeping an eye on this place and still hope to actually make the start of a Dusty Butt one day!
    Catch you all again sometime.

    Fuck you Beth !
    You'll be back !!!!!
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

    Nagambie??

If you still intend to keep riding there's a good few trails around there, more to the south and west between Puckapunyal and Bendigo...although if I remember rightly I think even trailbikes had to be road registered to ride the forest trails...

Good luck over there and watch out for roos... and avoid Seymour unless you're catching the train to Melbs...they ain't like us normal people...
There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.

Good luck Blair - was wondering why you were selling your bike? sounds like they have got a few tracks over there that will see you right - tell us what bike you get. That bloody pom - I reckon he is building up stock to open a shop!

Welcome.....yes some good riding up that way although I haven't been up that far as yet. Yes Recreational Reg is needed if you are riding on public land ie National/Regional Parks, about $80 a year and you need idicators, headlight, break light and a small number plate. Can't ride on the road but can cross it if the track disects it.

There are quite a few rides organised on the Advrider sight in the Aussie region if you are interested in more adv style riding although many also include fire trails and other interesting technical bits

Might see you out riding over here.

I've been eyeing up a few bikes on my visits over too.
WR250R,good light weight, but only a 14l tank avaliable could limit how far I can go.
DRZ400,bit dated now but well proven,28l tank should take me anywhere I need to go,although getting a bit heavy by that stage.
2010 Tenere, ideal for the long distances and the odd bush bashing, but again bloody heavy.
    Desicions eh.

A shame to see you go mate, was looking forward to catching up again, but best wishes for your future endeavours. You will have a far bigger playground, endless roads, far less gates or impassable mountain ranges, just watch out for the roos

    Happy trails mate

they're talking 450km range with both, which would get you half way to the next servo in Oztralia!

See ya later Blair. I'll miss the challenge of starting Ray though if that mad pommy bugger has it I might be starting it a bit more

Good luck in the not so shakey isles. Good luck finding the new trails

    Cheers R
