Oh yeah, Ms Wade-Brown finding it difficult to get to work on her treadly? Hard fucking luck, change the parking legislation m’dear. Fucksakes, do I have to think of everything?

Only sucks if you don’t have the balls to spit it out.

Actually, I wonder where ‘eronner does park the Mayoral treadly… can it be done legally in our fair town? Are there treadly-specific parks? Do they cost a lot?
I'l be quite happy to 'look' for a bike park around the ACC HQ/Beehive or what ever, 7.30 monday am

jeez mate, what planet are you on,? ive seen riders with all of that & are still not safe on the road( another words cant ride safely on the road). not always the bike its self, it also comes down to the rider, experiance etc.

This site REALLY needs a sarcasm smiley...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

How easy would it be to fuck up Auckland?

Northern motorway + southern motorway + north-western motorway around 7am, city bound lanes. Block that shit up and there will be tailbacks for god knows how many kms. We would have people several hours late for work. There are plenty of bikes in Auckland and if some bikers from Hamilton and everywhere else around wanted to join in then we could have a LOT of bikes on the road.

Auckland is NZs biggest city, how would the politicians feel is we fucked it up for several hours on a week day and threatened to do it again? A couple of years ago the Rego was $270, what will it be next year? The Canadians are pissed off because their rego doubled in 3 years, we must be looking at close to the same thing.

I'm not too sure what you mean. As I said in my post it was ~$270 a couple of years back, so where will it be next year? It is almost twice what it was, if they decide to throw in another increase next year then like Canada it could easily be over twice what it was within 3 years.

How does what you posted contradict anything that I posted?

Wouldn't be that hard to totally fuck it over, a good few (slow) bikes from all over Auckland heading for a get together in the Domain on a Monday morning should do it.

    Anyone interested??

FFS, not like they haven't publicized their intentions, been in the papers on the web.....
    They will be providing to bikers at a cost of your new ACC levy;
    A talking to,
A free check of your riding apparel,
An offhand and, no doubt comical, comment on your riding practices,
A brief looksee at your WOF sticker,
    A scrutiny of your Rego
An informed and non prejudiced safety check of your tires and other non too technical bike bits,
A hearty wave or salute as you leave...
    Luverly, ride safe now.
