I once had a RD350LC that stated it was a 250, even on the rego. I suspected originally that the engine was not the original, but it turned out to be an error made when first regoing it in NZ. Later I had a Cordia GSR turbo, which stated on the rego it was the non-turbo GSL. Once again an error made when first regoing it. I asked both times if it was worth changing the details to the correct ones (as I had my full licience), both times I was told it was not worth the hassle. Turned out the insurance was way cheaper on the Cordia, even though I disclsed that it was the GSR turbo. No complaints there
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.
