Vista's Windows Movie Maker is different to Windows Live Movie Maker that you get with Windows 7. Both reasonably intuitive to use, but the Windows Live version is much more unstable - especially with longer videos. You can download Vista's version to run on Windows 7, however it does not support the new Media Center video format.
What part of for(int i=0xC02;putchar((i&7)+69)&&(i>>=3); ); don't you understand?
I got one of these out of China, cost me $230 at the time i got it, that was to my door.
Picture quality is not to bad, its no 1080p Hi Def

Regardless of how good this one might be, after owning an ATC2K, I would never buy anything Oregon scientific again.

My desktop at work is 2008 R2 (server version of Win7). I installed the Vista movie maker using the link below and it works fine. I have been told this works for Win 7 too

I use Cyberlink power director 8 and have no problems but i have a new, very good laptop as the high def stuff takes a lot of power to run smoothly.
Also most of the high def vids are .MOV (H.264) format so a lot of the free software is not compatable.
Just got a stable version of Kdenlive compiled and going.
Easier to use than Blender but not as flexible.
The VIO POV 1.5 I have uses four batteries, I get over 6 hours recording to the battery life if I use high quality ones. The Eneloops I use are awesome, maybe 7 hours tops, longer than the life of the SD Card, (8Gb max)
I orderded an attachament for the back that replaces the batteries. I can now poer the camera from the battery direct with the spade adapters or use the cigarette lighter attachment. Both come with a nice spiral cable and it is long enough to have the camera on the bars or in the back of the jacket.
Battery life is a thing of the past. If I leave the bike, the unit unplugs, I then have to insert batteries if I want to film something away from the bike.
All of these attachments are compatible with the new 1.5HD when available, but for now the one I have is really awesome.
On a side note.....
I loaned the camera to the guys for their ride down south for three weeks. Day 2, I get a phone call....
"I can't get this thing to work properly"![]()
Turns out it is really technical for a 'technophobe'........even with the instructions given two weeks prior to departure....I wonder if we will get any good footage? Fingers crossed....
I plan on mounting the cable, then running it up the side of the rear shrouds through to the seat, it will sit there, ready to plug in and out. Power on the go. It is fused and the power draw is low, much like the GPS unit on the battery too.
I've just purchased a V.O.I P.O.V 1.5 online still waiting for it to arrive looking forward to putting it through it's paces gunna be a big improvement on my Non shock proof handy Cam duct taped to me helmet & I'me gunna save shit loads on duct tape. .
THE DEAR LEADER SAY'S Life is Hell ride hard or head home just get the fuck outta my way !!!
