I am still talking about the majority though, and should any animosity be based around what we ride?

I answered that, and despite all the name calling and hair pulling, you'll find that the majority of members here feel the same way as well. There are a few that will judge you by what you ride, but fuck that's a human condition. Try ironing that out.

I've been sifting through some threads here and I have found that every one commenting has a common interest.

That is they just want to run everyone else here down.

You all know this, but here are some examples.

Harley owners hate jap owners.

Jap owners hate Harleys.

Sports bike owners dislike cruiser owners.

Everyone except Honda owners think Honda owners are homosexual.

The dual sport and MX guys(girls) reckon road riders are the scum of the earth.

Everyone thinks they are better than the next person for one reason (bike) or another.

My questions to you are these......

Are we all motorcyclists who at the end of the day share a common interest?

or

Are we just a factional bunch of arseholes that care for little more than ourselves and fellows in our own little cliques?

After being PM'd it appears I don't yet understand the dynamics of such a complicated site such as this.

its a peculiar Kiwi thing ( possibly western as the brits and the Americans both do it

I think it comes from a lack of security

Personally , I try and mostly succeed in not saying a negative comment about an individual

BUT , if they are stupid , a politician , vote National , or the idiot woman reading the map inside my cars navi system then yes you get both barrels

its friendly rivalry, a good ribbing. I ride most days with cruisers, sportsbikes, 250-1600cc, old, young, cops, students, tourers . . .
I rip them all out. i tell nighthwak his duc sounds like its falling aart and looks like it wasnt painted, virago tells me I look like im 'presenting' curled on on a sportsbike, however we all ride together all the time nd have a great laugh, are friends, and hang out at each others places fairly often.

Its all jst a bit of fun. dont take it seriously.
