What a stupid thing to say. They're checking WOF for YOUR safety, not their own. Rego is a different matter though. Having your bike in a roadworthy condition (i.e. to WOF standard) will not prevent a crash, but it will prevent a crash that is caused by something badly wrong with your bike.
Never in the field of human conflict has so much been owed to so few by so many cheese eating surrender monkeys.
(Winston Churchill on the French.)
Hope he is OK, Like 'em or not he is a biker and he has had a spill so I hope he was able to walk away from it.
(ps. Can I get off the ticket now?)

I wonder what advice Katman would have for him.
This cop should start a thread about how he binned his bike, ya know so we get the full story.
This is clearly a workplace accident.
I hope ACC payments for this chap come out of the correct account rather than the motor pool a/c.
Are OSH involved yet?
All joking aside, I hope the guy is ok.
Diarrhoea is hereditary - it runs in your jeans
If my nose was running money, I'd blow it all on you...
I wonder if the person chasing him, pulled out of pursuit just moments before
...Cos they always crash just after that
Seriously, I hope the officer is OK. There was a comment earlier in the thread saying, regardless of whether he was a cop, he was still a biker!. I think more importantly he his also a human, so...
I wonder if he'll get a ticket and demerits for not riding to the conditions.
And money for bike repair deducted from his pay? Oh wait..that makes no difference to tax payers anyway...
