Does anyone have a Maico MC 250? or other Maico 250?

I have a Maico 250 scooter I'm trying to build as a '70s race replica. My research tells me that the MC250 was the main source of parts for this purpose and would be a good place to go looking for some of the parts I want. Mainly - Exhaust, carb, ingnition & generator, throttle controls, brake pads, clutch plates.

Mainly at this stage I'd just like to talk to someone who has one and exchange a few measurements and photos.
I can get a lot of what I "think" I want off ebay, but I don't want to bother buying stuff I can't use.

Have a look at this - maybe you can pm the dude because he obviously knows a thing or two. The Maico is a great bike (I remember Colin Fullerton riding one at Pukekohe and it was seriously competitive).
