Maybe because I am a girl and they were worried I would cry?

Seriously, I thought Glen was very helpful and I am taking my bike for a WOF and service in a couple of weeks.

Oh yeah, they are doing the service as my bike is under warranty so obviously I can't do it myself.
Everyone from time to can have an issue with any of the bike shops around the country...
Scott just has more trouble with most of them, I saw him once at Cycletreads, he wheeled is bike in and they asked him to wheel it straight back out again

After my experince with their sales team I would not give them money for a winning lotto ticket.
And they sure as hell won't be touching any bike of mine, even for free

Has to be serviced as per the service book/warranty and be recorded by an authorised dealer - last time I checked, the garage under my house was not an authorised motorcycle workshop

It's pleasing to hear that they obviously still have the same fucking retarded parts monkeys' there.

This is not a one off bad experience. I wouldn't not make a thread like this unless it was far to late to ever convince me to go back.

I had shit service when I brought in my gpz1000 many years ago.

I had shit service a few years after that on my zxr250.

My mate had shit service there with a fzr250

Magua had shit service at the end of last year with his cb400.

I have had shit service there now.

This has been going on for years.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Because when you're going to pay $80/hr for someone to work on your bike(s), you want a good mechanic to work on your bike. Not some useless, halfwit "apprentice" who doesn't have a sodding clue what they're doing, or care that they're working on someone else's pride and joy.
Yeah I have been to see AJ at Motohaus, and he is very good, and provides excellent service!

    Same here.
When I first bought the VFR, I had plans of getting them to do my maintenance. By the time I'd actually picked the bike up, I'd decided to never spend any more money there. Their attitude to customers is mercenary and suckful.
It's their loss; I've spent probably close to $10k elsewhere in the last 6 years.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

    lick my bang u homo!

Sorry if i decided to give them a 2nd or 3rd chance. Staff change over the course of 7 years, the service at cyclespot doesn't.

and tbh i totally forgot about magua's recent experience. and belive me i complained to the boss, the very next day i was mislead again.

I've never had a problem with their sales team. In fact, they've pretty much guaranteed that the next bike I add to my collection will be a VFR800 (I must be getting old! ).

In the past I've also had them import a low-km tidy VFR400R from Japan for me at a verrry reasonable price, and had nothing but excellent service from their sales team throughout the process.

However I've never trusted their workshop for any major work, after some of the horror stories I've heard from their friends. Besides, as I've found a excellent mechanic already, there is no reason for me to risk taking my bikes anywhere else.
