WARNING! Wairarapa crackdown today! (Sun 14 Nov)

Cops everywhere. Mobile checkpoints. Wof/reg/licence. Most dense around Martinborough. It seems they've started a day early.

Or a day late and targeting the wrong groups, if you read the Herald. NZ is less 8 people from this weekends carnage. So far no motorcyclists.... time to tempt fate and suit up. I love a good road block!!

I seem to be stuck in a certain 'Rapa town in my fave cafe with no clear way out. Anyone for coffee in the square?

What? Keeping your head down cos you're riding illegally? The least the cops could do is buy you a few rounds to pass the time...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I still have not seen the stats for road deaths caused by bikes with no rego/wof or unlicenced rider to warrant these sorts of taxpayer funded quota fillers.

If you're wfo, regged, and licenced you've nothing to worry about. My favourate roads are getting congested anyway and a few bikes off the road would make things better. Mind if you're carrying some dounuts you may get off scot free.

Made it home. Didn't stop to have a chat, so I don't know if they had leaflets or not.

Yup they are every where. Never thought the crapper had so many boys in blue. But too busy pulling over idiots on 4 wheels to worry about this idiot on 2. Nice day out, well worth the tank of gas.

The Highway Patrol cars were from Welly. Stopped on the hill and saw them heading back.

See. I told you it was good comedy. I still think my Speed Camera in my own street trumps.

Yeah, word got around that the guy from Wanganui who parked his wagon pointing in the wrong direction was in the Wairarapa and bang, Roadblocks everywhere. They would have sent the guy down who wrote the ticket but he has probably been promoted.....
