Three of us coming up from Welly tomorrow morning. DRZ400, KTM525 (?) and my good ol' KLR.
Bit worried the trails will be a bit much for the KLR, but it's all I've got, so...
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

I didn't see the KLR, but another marshall told me they saw it and it looked a bit heavy. How did you get one? I had an orange vest on, but didn't see you - must have been at a good bit in my book...

It wasn't very pleasant. Just too heavy for my inadequate skills. Got stuck at the creek crossing/mudhole (saturday), once past that (with asistance) I spoke to a marshall who suggested I bail out at the top of the hill by turning left instead of following the arrows. Went back along this road a bit, took a wrong turn, went down the trail and ended up....back at the mud hole. Got through it (again with assistance), up the hill, left turn, this time went the right way and got onto Waipuna road, which is a lot more KLR territory. Followed that to the end, then onto the road that took me back to the back to the start/ camp site.
The guys I was with managed a lot better than me and completed the course.
No-one was keen to try it today after the rain, though. (we're all pussies)

Today was the best Day, rain made it quite tacky and there was no dust.

Another excellent weekend even though my hangover hasnt gone yet

Any one else get DRENCHED at the bonfire

If so, you will know what i am on about.
