Yes - practice hills starts - do it a lot! I used to worry about stalling but just do it again and again until it is something you can almost do without thinking

Yer, keeping to the left is a rully rully bad idea.....

I aim to sit in the right third of the lane so I can be seen in both rear view and side mirrors. Given that undertaking on the left is unlawful it is less likely you'll face that, sitting over to the left is just too tempting for most car drivers (or other bikers who blast past leaving you in their wake!)

Yes, it was nerves - I was scared silly on my first road ride on the trusty GN250. I soon learnt to claim my part of the road.

First lesson, never starch your leathers or you will never be able to pick your own bike up Enjoy your riding, stalls and all and don't worry about riders like the miserable, grumpy old Harley Rider, he has probably been sitting on the thing so long it has burst his haemorrhoids...

But most of all, when you're an old and gnarly rider on a huge bike, be nice to noob's.

Well. This will seem weird... but I am improved so much havn't stalled once today all gear changes smooth, clutch control fine.

My cornering has improved can now take them a little faster then most cars are willing to go.

Its like I woke up a new man... *talks to self* Just don't get cocky kid.

I am actually an expert on geniuses.

    And remember one thing:
When spitting at guys riding jappas, make sure you aren't wearing a full face helmet.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
