I'm 5'2" max in bare feet and ride a 650 bandit. One of the reasons we chose this bike for me was the adjustable seat height (goes down to 770mm at lowest).

In addition I had the saddle foam reshaped for a very reasonable price in Tauranga, the suspension softened out to the max (for my 65kg weight), and finally splashed out $150 to have the soles of my boots built up. So, some additional cost there but boy what a difference it has made to keeping the bike of my dreams and comfortable riding.
I lahk to moove eet moove eet...

p.s. I have sat on GSXRTrace's lowered GSX600 and was astounded at how low to the ground it was. Felt a bit strange laying over the tank though (short arms and all that) given that the GSF is a more upright riding style. Having said that I'd have been very interested in one if I was still in the market looking for a bike.

i m in whakatane but i would never buy a bike without seeing it or riding it. its a big investment and to take someones word that you may not know is not stacking the odds in your favour.

I would never buy sight unseen... I would come down and check it out .... but would be a waste if it was not checked out by someone more experienced!

I have a few months to look around, and see what suits, so far the gladius comes up, but this one just looked pretty good, mind you price wise not so sure.

also, set height is not a real indicator of how youre feet will reach the floor or not. its also the width of the bike and seat shape etc
