    Talking Are you in Whakatane?

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=333473790

Has anyone got one of these, or ridden one? Seat height important, I am only 5ft 2!!!!

What are they like, looking at the Gladius but I like this... serious thoughts... what are the differences.

If your in Whakatane, any chance of checking this out for me, and giving me some feedback, willing to come down for a look see myself if it weighs up right.

    Thanks
    Kim

When I was looking for a new bike, I searched for the model specs on line - it will give you seat height and weight etc. There is a thread somewhere with a link to a site where you type in your height and choose the model of bike and it shows you the riding position and leg lenght etc. Its pretty cool but it did show me the bike I wanted, i couldn't reach the ground, even with tippy toes

    This is the website -

    http://cycle-ergo.com/

There is an option to show "feet on the ground" as well as riding position

Thanks, I know the Gladius fits, but they don't sell the GSR600 anymore, so not listed on site!

    Google is your friend!

Edit: Keep in mind that an IL4 will be wider than a twin, which for us shorties can make a big difference also

if the seat height is good for you before you come down for a look get them to take it into underwoods for a check and get them to give you a report on the bike. They will give you an honest opinion. I would have a look for you but I don't have enough experiance to be checking a bike out for others.

It has the same seat height as the Gladius.

If its only a little bit to tall I'd look at a custom seat before thinking about trying to lower it. Added bonus being that it you'll likely come out with a more comfy seat too

Have you ridden an IL4? They can take a little getting used to after riding a twin they have far less engine braking and scream like a cut cat with aftermarket exhausts

I'm not a suzuki fan but it looks fairly tidy, will sound good with the yoshi.

Brought in 08 & only done 5000km so likely to still be shod in stock tyres which it may be prudent to change in case the rubber has gone 'off.' Pilot Road 2's would be a good replacement.

Looks nice, I would have thought the same about this tyres, but the ad says a new rear.

Someone's been naughty to eat an OEM rear in 5K on that thing.

OP - I agree - get a bike shop to look at it for you. Too many times on KB this has happened and turned into a shit fight if something goes wrong with the bike 5 minutes later.

Haha I must have skipped over that bit.

Odd, the SV I had, had done 15000km on a stock rear when I brought it (which had become so squared that it resembled a car tyre )

Sounds crazy, but its a trend in the USA for the cruiser boys. MC tyre up front, car tyre on the rear.
