An '89 R80 with 94,000ks up. Was my old mans, an avid Ullysian at one point, since around '91. Basicly just ridden and with basic maintenance tasks done, so still tons of life left.

Just a few niggly things to get sorted-fork seals(toying with the idea of gaiters), mirrors(the rh one broke and the lh has a terminal split in it), exhaust collector rattle, chip in the headlight and a bit of surface rust here and there. Came with manuals, a Luftmiester 2-1 as well as an exhaust nut spanner and to top it off panniers. Had a look under the seat and the battery is all good and some goodies in the compartments.

Came with a heanis WFO fairing that was quite effective but this caused the damage to the mirrors hence its removal. No dought I'll be gleaning a bit R know how from a few members in over time and obviously doing the inteweb thingy. Had a twin shock R65 in a previous life so not completely at a loss though.

Dad kept it garaged when not using it. But it wasn't really pumpered as such. Was his pride and joy though. Something he worked to save up for so would be rude to let it out of the family. I see the old bugger must have tweaked the head bearing nut up with vice grips. Must tease him about next it time I see him.

Cheers Ed. Was a naughty naughty boy and rode it from Havelock North to Palmy. Not top heavy like the CX. Similar to the CB550 as far as handling goes. Of course there's the the torque reaction to consider and it brakes are a lot better. Sounds a bit like a Sopwith Camel when on song.
