    Motorcycle blitz coming

Got pulled over by Mr Plod today while on my way to collect the Kapiti/Hororwhenua tag. Turned out to be a very nice guy telling me about the importants of watching my speed ( just a friendly reminder).
A fellow motorcycle lover & owner himself. We talked for abit while he inspected my bike, he moaned about ACC ( I nodded politely in agreement).
He then told me that this coming holiday period police will be doing a blitz on motorcycles. WOF/Rego checks and also licence checks to try and catch out people who dont have a licence or not the correct one for their bike.
So for anyone who may fall into one (or all) of these categories be warned and watchful this xmas

Can we get a warning thread warning of endless threads on crackdowns by police?

    I call bullshit.
    Coppa's wouldn't say that.
Very average attempt at a troll.
    Must try harder.

Oh the irony. When I was riding a >130hp supersports bike on my learners/restricted, no cop worries.

Now that I have a 35hp road bike on my full license, the "crackdowns" start.

I approve of the thin blue line's sense of timing.

I got stopped on the way to work this morning. A cop ran across the road holding his hand up. Had to take my helmet off so he could check it. Which necessitated taking gloves off. He also wanted to see my drivers licence and rego.

When i took the helmet off his sergeant crossed the road too. He used to be a neighbour...

When I left they were discussing how to get back across the road through the heavy traffic.

All the dim shit car drivers probably thought I'd committed some heinous crime...

well he didnt actually say anything about money gathering, but he was going on about more bikes on the roads now mentioning them being a cheaper option petrol wise and also how more older people are coming back to riding after many years.
The money gathering was just my own conclusion after playing join the dots

I'm interviewing some motorcycle cops in the morning for Kiwi Rider. Looking forward to hearing their side of the story.

So I just checked all is in order before going into the lion's den. OF COURSE my bike's rego just ran out.

Edit - just remembered I can pay it online.

I now put my rego n wof behind the number plate, where chain splooge/dust/mud collects.
If they wish to closely inspect it, they can wipe the muck off themselves.
Seems most coppas can't be arsed to bend down and look.
Pretty certain this is just a pissy lil tit for tat aided and abetted by Nick the Dick.
Great use of tax payers funds.
    Not

If he was really trying he'd realise too many old cunts getting back to riding after a layoff are throwing themselves under the nearest car.

Well that's one of the pigs trolls anyway, all in the name of our own safety.

Clueless plod following flakey orders in the name of revenue gathering again.
