Nice bikes. Looks like you've painted the earlier fairing to look like the R and fitted it to the newer model. The newer fairing on the old model. Is that so? Not that I'm an anorak you understand He he. Still got them? You said 'had a few'.
Do us all a favour, by bringing yourself up to speed, before pulling onto the motorway.

Always loved the 1100 Sport and Daytona - they just look so fucking staunch. My old Lemon hated traffic. Actually it hated anything under about 120 kmh and was a dream between 130 and 180 regardless of the road, but sadly I kept getting certificates from nice men in Commodores telling me how fast I had been travelling and the bastards charged me a fortune for the service, so I sold it.
Don't blame me, I voted Green.

Yeah they tend to "chug" in traffic ay, no such thing as a smooth clutch on these buggers. (And I only just rebuilt the clutch...well 20k ago, upgraded to the 98 plates etc)
But ya right about the 120k+...mmmmm so nice till the disco lights come on.

It was a real Jeckyll and Hyde bike - under 120 it was lumpy, heavy and the weight on my wrists was a shocker, then suddenly it all smoothed out and the bike came to life. I loved that old Lemon and used to really enjoy sitting on modern sports bikes arses (never had the neddies to get past) and when they pulled over and discovered the light in their mirrors was a crude and primitive bike with skinny tyres and shaft drive being ridden by a fat old bastard it was gold.

    Guzzis are seriously underrated bikes.

pretty standard bike although I bought it with excellent Rider seat and I have added Akrapovic pipes that sound sensational!

Gixxer sixxer SRAD. Ohlins rear end, Yoshi triple clamp, Yoshi MJN jet kit, steel brake hoses, Kerker race can, Oggy knobs, aftermarket front discs + some more bits and pieces that I've probably forgotten.
